My android bookmarks have never synced with those on my PC ie android won't import any of them. I know about the 5,000 limit but I only have 1,100.

I just installed the android beta version and all the PC bookmarks appear immediately.

What is the problem here and how can I get my PC bookmarks into the Android app?

Hi

I understand that Firefox Sync did not connect to your mobile device on this occasion, but hopefully I should be able to help you force a Sync event to take place.

Assuming you have connected the same Sync account on both your mobile and desktop copies of Firefox:

In Firefox on your mobile device:

  1. Go into the Settings menu and select Firefox Account.
  2. Tap on Synchronise now.

This will “force” a synchronisation of the data that is on the local device storage.

Thanks for replying but no, I already tried that. I also uninstalled and reinstalled android app and still no desktop bookmarks.

It's bizarre because the beta version I just installed imported them no problem.
