How can I create a desktop shortcut to a website without using the drag and drop method? I am the teacher of a blind student who used the NVDA screenreader. Drag and drop just really isn't accessible to her. Are there other ways to create desktop shortcuts (specifically to google drive)?

Hi jdinis1006,

If you are using Google Chrome as your browser. To create a desktop shortcut to a website without using the drag and drop method. You can do it in this way:

1. Open the website in Google Chrome in Windows. 2. Click the Chrome Menu Button (⋮). It is located upper-right corner of the Chrome Window. 3. Then select More Tools then select Create shortcut.... 4. Then enter the name for the shortcut. 5. Click "Create" to add it to your desktop. Then it will appear on to your desktop. 6. Double click it to open the shortcut.

Hope these steps help!

Regards, cv
