Search results from search bar on Firefox Home instead search bar

Before the last Firefox update, when my dad opened Firefox he would start typing in Firefox's home search bar and he would see suggestions below search bar.

But now with the new update when he start to type on that search bar automatically cursor moved to address bar to search from there. He really disagree and it's less accessible to him, now he's asking to me how to revert to the previous behavior.

I searched in all settings but I don't found anything. Is it possible return to previous behavior?

Hola 1-Escribe en la barra de direcciones : about:config y luego dar enter 2-Sobre la nueva pagina que aparece escribir en el campo de búsqueda: browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoff 3-Haciendo doble clic sobre la linea que aparece cambia el valor de true a false Luego cierra esa pestaña y el buscador volverá a funcionar como antes.

Si se ha resuelto agradeceríamos marcar la consulta como solucionada para que sirva a otros usuarios.
