There is a weird overlay on the min / max / close buttons
For some reason, there is a weird overlay on the min / max / close buttons. It looks weird and I can’t find anything online about it. The only themes I have are system theme v.2 (the default one) and CustomCSSForFX. I don’t know how to remove it.

Are you using CSS code in userChrome.css in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder as that might be causing it ?

Yes, I am using css code. But I have had this issue even without the css code. I’ve had it ever since Firefox was installed.

Yes, I am using css code. Except I have had this problem for a while now, even without the css code. I think it was even from Firefox install.
It looks like the Firefox-styled buttons from the tab bar are overlaying the native-styled buttons from the title bar. That wouldn't be detectable on my Windows 10 but it looks like you're running Windows 7.
It is a little weird that your browser identified itself as Safari running on a Mac. (?)

it is strange how it's identified as safari on a mac. i did do a bunch of windows -> macos theming, and i themed firefox too. it might've caused it to think it's safari. also it's windows 10

nope, didn't work. the user agent seems correct and it says windows 10, mozilla 5.0, and firefox 89. there was also none of the user agent options in about:config. i've tried reinstalling firefox too
Can you post the content of your userChrome.css so we can check for possible issues ?
On Reddit you mentioned using a Windows 7 theme. However, Firefox may be assuming Windows 10-style buttons.

It isn’t the theme, it’s the browser. I tried with and without css, still the exact same.
