I want to sort the Bookmarks dropdown list A to Z by name. When I click on Manage Bookmarks and then right click on All Bookmarks, then click on sort A to Z, nothing happens. The dropdown list is still mixed.

You have to use an add-on for that, for instance https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/sort-bookmarks-webext/

You can't use the Views menu in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) if that is what you are using as this is only sorting bookmarks in the Library for viewing purposes. To sort the bookmarks you need to right-click a folder and choose "Sort by Name" to sort the bookmarks in this folder.
