the hotmail is not work in Thunderbird , when i set it up follow this document, it also tips "add security exception"

Is this popping up when you try to connect to a server to retrieve email? This is IMAP? Is this a new account? TB is warning you that the server that you are trying to connect to does not hold a valid security certificate - which would be a little strange considering it's Outlook and the server address looks okay. Have you cancelled out and retried connecting?
