I have a MacBookPro. When the probelm first started to happen after downloading 3.6.4, the browser would try to check the compatibility of add-on, but it would never finish. After reviewing the info in support, I disabled add-ons, opened in safe-mode and re-downloaded .... nothing has worked. Now using Safari in the interim. Any advice? Thanks.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

Since the upgrade

User Agent

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_8; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.16 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0 Safari/533.16

P.S.

I need Firefox for my job because it works better with java, so I've switched back to 3.5.10, which does work. Of course, I'd like to use the most up to date version, so any additional suggestions will help.
