Automatic sign in from Windows Live Messenger to my hotmail doesnt work. I have to reenter the password when I dont have this problem when Internet Explorer was my default browser. Can you please help?
I have enabled the feature in the Windows Live Messenger so I dont have to enter the password to check my hotmail account. I have always used Internet Explorer and I never had this problem as I always check my email through my live messenger. When I set Mozilla firefox as my default browser this feature doesnt work anymore and I have to re-enter my hotmail password when I had already entered it when sign in to the Live Messenger.

- Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
- You must allow that cookie (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions), especially for secure websites and if you let cookies expire when Firefox closes
- Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I have just tried this and still doesnt work.
I allowed the cookies for this site but it still doesnt remember my hotmail password.
Windows Live (Hotmail) uses a lot of domains to create cookies (live.com passport.net), so you have to check which domains are required to remember you.
It still doesnt work. I dont think it will ever work using Mozilla Firefox as I have no problem using Internet Explorer. I am sure many people will be affected by this and there has to a solution for this otherwise I have to go back to using Internet explorer.
