I have a hyperlink in a Model Dialog, and I have wrtten the code to downlaod a file whenever a user clicks on the hyperlink

When I try to download a file by clicking on a hyperlink through model dialog, I am not able to download the file. The download window is appearingr but it will not show the file name / file type and when I click on save/open button, nothing happenes.

Please let me know if you want me to be bit more clearer to explain the issue.

Can be this bug:
Bug 406375 – In modal dialog (window.open with modal=yes) child windows and dialogs do not populate with expected content

Maybe you can add. a test case to that bug report
