I've heard that some programs (like NetNanny) install their own SSL certs. Do these certs installed by 3rd party apps show up in the Firefox Root Certificate Authorities list? If not, any ideas how to locate these certs?

Thanks,

Tom

Firefox makes a secure connection with the NetNanny program in such cases and the NN program uses its own certificates to connect to the web server. That way the NN program can monitor what content is send to and received from a server. So in Firefox you need the root certificate from the NetNanny program to make that work smoothly.
