Starting yesterday out of the blue, Firefox will not allow me to go to www.yahoo.com . If I go to other yahoo pages directly it will allow but I get an error screen everytime I go to the homepage.

Yahoo.com works fine in IE & Chrome? I tried turning off all firewalls, but continued with the error. All other computers on the network (8 comps.) connect fine to yahoo.com still.

Any help would be appreciated

This error occurred when I installed the new 3.6.13 update. I went back and loaded in the 3.5 version and yahoo works fine again.

Not sure why it happened, but I am not updating again. The old versions can be found archived on the mozilla page just have to dig a little. Hope this helps anyone who finds this post.

Make sure that you didn't disable only the user interface of the firewall and kept the firewall service running.

It is better to remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
