I am not a techie. I thought by sending a particular message from a regular spam sender to my spam folder, that there would be built in intelligence and that the next time the same sender would mail me a message, the system would automatically recognize the spam sender and move his to the spam folder directly without going to my inbox. This is not happening. What should I do to avoid seeing spam?

Firefox has no email features, it is just a web browser. If you are accessing email using Firefox it will be a webmail service, and any email features will be part of the webmail service. You will need to check with the support for the webmail service about how to handle spam.

If your question is about using Thunderbird, for Thunderbird support you can ask in one of these forums:
