How do I transfer bookmarks from Firefox 3.6 on one computer to Firefox 4 on another computer?

I have a new HP 6720 Pavillion Desktop using Windows 7 and downloaded FF4.0 to it. I have bookmarks in FF3.6 on an older computer using XP and have exported Firefox to a jump drive. I need step by step instructions on how to get my old FF profile info including bookmarks transfered to my new computer.By the way, I need the same instructions for transfering my Outlook email files and address book on the old computer to Thunderbird on the new one. Thanks

You can export the bookmarks using Firefox 3.6 to a json file, then restore that file to Firefox 4 on the new computer. For details see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Backing+up+and+restoring+bookmarks
