Lion OS X crashes ever time I try to start Firefox. I am using Firefox 6 and have tried to reinstall but the problem persists. I am forced to use Safari but would love to get back toFirefox if it'll work again.

Firefox 6 was upgraded to with Lion OS X. Every time I launch it the screen freezes, as if trying to do something, but does nothing at all, crashing the system.

Try turning off hardware acceleration in Firefox. Seems to have helped.
