Crash happens when starting the application, I have tried using Safe Mode with all addons disabled and still see an immediate crash.

Have you cleared your cache or run CCleaner? It's free..have used it for years.

Tons of stuff accumulates and I clean nonstop on here, as I have an older computer.

I learned last night you can change your memory usage option also. Click on tools, advanced, network and you can up or down your memory to 10 or 40 mbs, whichever is best for you.

I have XP and an older computer and just doing the cleaning and changing the memory usage stopped the freezing for me.

Good luck!

Donna

PS I also leave a blank tab open, so I can go to that tab and clear the cache while I'm working. It saves me alot of aggravation.

Facebook has a nasty cookie that follows users AFTER they sign off, CCleaner is great to get rid of that, after signing off, too. I've run my AV (Norton newest) and still picked up tons of cookies with CCleaner afterwards. I can't express enough how much it has saved this ole computer to keep clugging along. lol Can't afford a new one and so many programs are full of crap! So I clean clean and clean!

Thanks Donna, I will look at CCleaner.

I have a crash report but it did not help me, sadly.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
