Why is CCleaner always finding over 16MB in my default Firefox Profile cache? (CC_Log: Firefox/Mozilla - Internet Cache \Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\5v0h4fw2.default\cache\ 16,552 KB 302 files)

After even an hour of light surfing on Firefox, CCleaner takes forever to empty the Firefox file cache. I've deleted offline data and limited the maximum cache size although I don't have Firefox set to delete browsing history on closing. This does not happen on another desktop with virtually identical programming.

That might be the new allocation to minimize problems of going through allocations at critical times. The last thing you want are two tasks waiting on one another ("deadly embrace"), but even though not generally a problem it will slow things down.
