I can open a couple of tabs and then firefox comes up that a script quit working, and then if I click on continue script or even stop script it tells me FF isn't responding and it shuts down everything. This is happening and happening a lot more as the days go by, and I have everything updated, even on firefox. Please someone tell me what the problem is. I am using FF 8.0.

It sounds like you might have two extensions that are fighting with each other. What Plugins and Extensions do you have installed?

Also, if you can.. what page(s) did you have open when you got the NOT RESPONDING message?

well I went through all of the extensions, which were avast, yahoo, and one other one.

and the pages i had problems with are sometimes Cityville, and just anything that I open with. normally it's a game or something.
