When i put the mouse over a tab heading a picture of the web page of that tab appears. When you close a tab you have to wait until this picture disappears before you can close the tab. I cant find a way to remove this annoying feature.

This is not normal behavior for Firefox; maybe it is a feature of an add-on that is installed in your browser. To turn it off, try the instructions at Disable or remove Add-ons or Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
