So I have a plugin that enables key bindings which allows me to surf pages quicker by pressing keys rather than clicking or scrolling. However when I go to pages like Google the focus always zeros in on the search bar. Other pages that have input fields for texts more often that not get focused on and I end up entering gibberish into them. Is there a way to take away the default focus so it will wait for me to decide when to enter information?

Many pages run a script that puts your cursor where the site believes you are most likely to want it to be. There is no generic method for blocking that kind of script, but just thinking out loud, you might be able to "blur" the focus or shift it to the entire document body with an add-on or a script of your own.

I don't really know how to write a script lol Do you know anything else that would work?
