I have the latest versions of both Firefox and Norton Internet Security, have rebooted many times and still no Norton toolbar. The add-ons screen does not list the 2013.2.3.1 version, only the previous version that is disabled. Is there a way to force this update?

thanks kilgore

Norton updates to 20.1.0.24 and the software claims I am running the latest version. Maybe its a Windows 8 with Firefox issue. The toolbar works fine in Internet Explorer 10

Problem Solved !! The problem was not with Firefox but with the version of Norton Internet Security I was running. I bought this version ( 2013 ) off of ebay but it would not update to the latest version. I had to download the try and buy version from the Norton site, un-install the program and then re-install it to get the latest version of the program. Now everything is working and updating properly. Best of all I don't have to remember all the obscure logins I generate.

thanks to madperson for the advice.
