The Font is bold on some of the websites.

From the last 2 days, the font on some of the websites have become bold. Some websites that got bold were Google (all domains), youtube and then just to test I tried Yahoo and ask! [How could you do that, no one ever uses yahoo? I didn't OK! I was just testing if the font was bold.] So the colours are all fine, the font size if the same; it is just the font that becomes bold. Most of websites remained the same. Don't know what's happened. This is happening with, Internet explorer, Google chrome and firefox but not with Opera. And I have firefox synced with a laptop. But on the laptop nothing is wrong with the fonts. please help!!!

This can be a problem with the font that is used to display the text.

You can try different default fonts and temporarily disable website fonts to test the selected default font.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced
  • [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
