I have messages in Windows mail that do not appear in Thunderbird.
When I start to print an item from my inbox a pageful of email headers appears before the info I want to print. What could I have done to cause this to happen?

When I use my PC (main device) Thunderbird shows individual mail folders, on my iPad the default mail client as well as individual account folders has an 'All Inboxes' This is very useful as 95% of my mail will go to one account .... so having an 'All folders' account ensures I don't miss a mail arriving on a less used account.
Is there a way to set this up on Thunderbird?

Thunderbird won't remember where it was last time (windows 10 and 11). Every time I open it, it has shifted and resized a bit from the last time. It's not one monitor to another or even the other side of one screen, but it's always slightly higher or lower, slightly smaller or larger... It's just driving me nuts because everything else is perfectly positioned. Note that I am using fancy zones to do this placement, but everything else works fine.

Hello, I have a Thunderbird problem: If I "print" a photo into a PDF, the PDF file is perfect. If I now send this file via Thunderbird, the recipient of the email, as well as I as the sender, receive the attachment in strips, in poor quality, unacceptable quality. The attachment is not particularly large and is under 5 MB. I use 2 email sender addresses from different providers that have no size limit. The recipient does not have this either. Can you please tell me the settings to sign in Thunderbird with a POP3 email account with gmail.com? I have tried all day yesterday and nothing works. After typing in the ports and all other settings it tells me the configurations are wrong. I sure would appreciate any help!

I found an Email in my Junk folder that was a billing notice from one of my utility companies. I right clicked on the Email and selected Mark as Not Junk. The message was instantly deleted EVERWHERE. It is not in any folder. I then tried searching for the sender (customerservice@...). The sender's address was instantly found by the search tool, but it stated that NO MESSAGE existed from that sender.
I don't think that marking an Email as Not Junk should completely erase the message from Thunderbird. Rather, I think it should be placed back in the Inbox folder or perhaps the Deleted folder.

Due to a birst central heating pipe I had to move my computer system to another room. When I tried to re-login to my e-mail accounts on Thunderbird, I had no problems with my gmail account.
But I had problems with my other account: gerard@cict.uk. The server name is outlook.office365.com. One of my outgoing server settings is: smtp.office365.com. The e-mail address gerard@cict.uk was bought from Namesco, who appears to be using Microsoft, presumably Outlook. Unfortunately I didn't make a backup of Thunderbird (just saw that it is possible), although I do have backups of my work up till 15 december 2024. Can you help? When trying to get back into my gerard@cict.uk system I changed some passwords. Strangely, having changed them I couldn't log in (incorrect password).
I am depressed. I can of course continue to live, but I received about 100 emails a day. So reconstituting my system for gerard@cict.uk will take considerable time.

I am having a problem when connecting to my employer's office 365 server. I'm getting an error that says the current command did not succeed. User is authenticated but not connected. If I connect to the same account in Outlook, it works as it should. Everything was working fine until about a month ago. I had not made any changes to the configuration, except for possibly a version upgrade. I am getting same error on all computers running Thunderbird. Two are Windows machines, one is a Linux machine. I am currently on Thunderbird 128.5.2ESR. I have seen solutions on Google, and I have tried deleting the account, recreating it and changing the IPV6 DNS setting in config editor to true. Has my employer changed something that is not going to let me in? I really hope not, as I cannot stand Outlook. Even more so with the new Outlook. Thanks much for your help and advice.

Thunderbird becomes nonresponsive for 30 sec. up to five minutes. I sent this in before and was told to start my computer in safe mode. I did and Thunderbird worked fine… (citește mai mult)

I sent this in before and was told to start my computer in safe mode. I did and Thunderbird worked fine.
Went back to normal mode and, of course, the problem is still there but I notice that in the bottom left corner, it says it is downloading X message of YYY messages when it becomes unresponsive.
I am using a University Gmail account with Thunderbird. Please help me as I love Thunderbird but this has been going on for months and I am about to give up.

I have changed from Norton to McAfee for virus checker on tower PC. =McAfee does not recognise Thunderbird as a safe product, so it will not allow access to it for downloading and sending emails unless I switch off VPN. Why should this be? Why does McAfee see the Thunderbird program as a threat?
If anybody else encountered the same problem what can Thunderbird program writers/ managers do to change the situation? I am very happy with Thunderbird and don't want to change from it.
If necessary will ditch McAfee but having paid for a year protection oath to do it.

I recently re-installed Windows 10. When I installed TB on the new version, both address and (home) calendar data were missing. Not concerned with address as most were probably obsolete anyway. From the information on this forum I opened my TB profile and found the SQLITE files from calendar-data and also the same from my Windows.old file (see image).
Is simply replacing the 4 SQLITE files from .old into the Profiles likely to restore the calendar data?
The files in the backup folder in .old has only SQLITE file - local.v22.sqlite which was last modified in 2021.
