How can I remove "Firefox suggests" URLs from the address/search bar on Android? I found the help article "Firefox Suggest for Mobile" (last updated 4/22/24) but when I follow its directions, I only see the first 3 toggleable options. "Suggestions from Firefox" and "Suggestions from sponsors" don't appear at all. The suggested URLs are frequently sites I have never been to and never want to go to, and their appearance is extremely irritating. Attached is a screenshot of the settings page as it appears to me, with only 3 options.

Hello I have a pocket app premium subscription. I need the saves for offline use. The app does not download. If I look for help, I understand that I have to switch on "download while using wifi" in settings. But I cannot find this option in settings. I can only see this (see attached picture). How do I Turn off 'Prevent this site from creating additional dialogs' feature?

I'm using an app called sevone, and each time I delete a graph I was getting this annoying popup. I selected 'Prevent this site from creating additional dialogs' feature, and now I cannot delete any graphs.

I am unable to find the setting anywhere. In older FF versions, this setting I believe was called dom.successive_dialog_time_limit on the about:config page and set the value to 0 to fix the issue. However, this information is from 2014 and is no longer useful.

I am using Firefox browser 131.0.3 (64-bit) for macOS.

Hi, Before this latest udate i have 128.4.0esr (64-bit) all my local folders showed the number of unread messages in them. Now some do and some dont. I am not a computer wizard so simple step by step directions/suggestions to resolve this issue would be appreciated Thank you Stephen

I recently got a Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) (8GB 256GB). I believe with the following specs:

• MediaTek Kompanio 1300T (8C, 4x A78 @2.6GHz + 4x A55 @2.0GHz)
• Integrated ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU

However, I'm getting 'hardware acceleration' errors with roll20, the roleplaying site, in Firefox.

If I try to launch a game in Firefox, roll20.net gives such error, and the site is not rendered at all.

I then tried Firefox Beta. Better, but I get an error that hardware acceleration is not enabled. The menu in the game is then rendered incorrectly.

On Chrome, the site is rendered, but the menu is way off to the right, similar to Firefox Beta.

Is there a setting in one of the flavours of Firefox on Android which I can turn on to activate hardware acceleration? I would have thought the tablet is powerful enough to use that. If anyone has any ideas what is going on, would appreciate it,

To fix this : Find firefox.exe (right click the firefox icon on taskbar - if you have one - then right click again on the firefox icon in dialog)

Firefox.exe > properities > compatibility tab > change high dpi settings > high dpi setting override > set to system

This appears to fix the issue (for me anyway on latest win11 pro) I cant be the only one for whom this was a daily frustration - and couldn't find an answer on this forum. If someone knows another fix please let me know. Cheers.

After the last update or the update before the last (in other words before 132.0) Firefox stopped showing different font-weights on certain webfonts, for example Noto Serif JP. It seems to show only light weight.

My system is old, so that may be a problem, but I'd still to prefer to fix the problem in an other way than upgrading my OS (Slackware 14.2, X.Org version: 1.18.3, fontconfig-2.11). So, what can I do?

Hi, When I go to manage the "cookies and site data" in the settings, and after I delete some of them, the disk space available usually changes to reflect deleting some of the cookies and data. Now though, since the latest update, it says, "Your stored cookies, site data, and cache are currently using 1.0 GB of disk space" ... the 1.0 is there to begin with, and even after deleting lots of the cookies, it remains at 1.0 ... unlike before when the amount of space being used goes down. Why is the 1.0 not changing to reflect deleting cookies and data etc? I am updated to the latest version 132.0, and I have a Mac laptop, 2024 15", also updated to the most current version MacOS Sequoia 15.1.

I have used Thunderbird as my preferred mail client for many years. Recent upgrade to Kubuntu 24.04 from 22.04.4 seems to have changed storage options. Thunderbird 128.1.0esr(64bit)

I store my mail on my local server so that I can access it from a number of different computers on the same network. If I set the Local Directory to that network folder it is changed to /run/user/1000/doc/5f5f8977/mail.xxxxxx.com and the mail is imported to my local disk in that folder.

However, when I restart the computer I have to set up the network folder again each time.

I have never had this problem before. How do I set the Local Directory permanently to the network server address? Thanks Bob

With a FireFox update a few months ago, the options on the screen to clear your history have changed from this to this.

Can anyone tell me how to restore the previous screen or "Offline Website Data" option ?

We use the Thunderbird calendar all the time. It's very frustrating that invite updates come in, and I have to click "Update" on each one to have my calendar be updated.

I *never* want my local calendar to not have the latest information in it about when/where the meeting is.

Is there any way to have all updates to existing invitations be processed automatically as they arrive?

I've had the zoom disable for a while on firefox beta for a while but now the about a week ago the pages have shrank and elemant of the pages are missed aligned. is there a work around or will I have to wait till its fixed?

Hi all, I installed Thunderbird for Android and I imported 6 accounts from Thunderbird from my Windows laptop. All is working fine but the import didn't imported the "Subscribe folder" options and I cannot find an option to mass enable all the folders to subscribe at once. I have a lot of folders in my work account and it will take very long to subscribe one by one. There is an option to do it in one easy step? If the answer is no, then should be nice to have one.

I have a number of shared calendars on Nextcloud that I share with others. These are family calendars so that we can see each other's schedules, etc. As the Admin for the accounts, I have write access to each. However, when I restart Thunderbird, every calendar is marked read only, including my own, which should NEVER default to read only. How do I fix this? I should be able to set read/write status once and have it persist.
