1/3rd part of title bar is cut off my display this is fixed when f11'd , it randomly went away on updating now its back i made it come back by clicking ctrl + tab several times >

I have been using Thunderbird for years. For the last 2 on a new computer I have been using it without a spell checker. I decided to do something about that and downloaded version 128.4.0esr.exe. The UK spell checker is now there but disabled. But the 'Option' menu choice is not showing on either 'Tools' or the 3 line icon.

In addition the mail panel is not displaying the classic Thunderbird list. I am using Windows 11. Any help greatly appreciated.

Telemetry upload is enabled even though all the checkboxes are de-selected in about:preferences. about:telemetry shows: Telemetry is collecting pre-release data and upload is enabled. I have all the telemetry prefs set to false as well.

My console is stuffed with errors of firefox trying and failing to send telemetry pings.

How do I keep firefox v115 ESR or v128 ESR from mixing the languages for the add-on descriptions in the Manage Your Extensions UI?

I would liket everything displayed in English if that's possible.

I have a website that has a textbox with an "OnRightClick" function that blocks the spellcheck with an audit log popup. As it's a vendor website, is there a workaround where I can get the spellcheck information and corrections to pop up using a left click instead of a right click?

For a while, every time I open Gmail I am told "Use Firefox to open mail.google.com every time you click a link that opens your email?" with the only options being "Set as default", "Not now" and closing it. The latter two only makes it pop up the next time; how do I get rid of this? I would like to say "No" and not being asked again. It is getting annoying.

Thunderbird Version: 128.3.3esr (64-bit) Elementary OS 7.1

Email messages received all display in 24 hour format. The calendar is also in 24 hour format. Elementary is configured for AM/PM (per the GUI), and displays as such within the OS. This is a brand new installation of both the OS and Thunderbird.

I'm all about RTFM and performing due diligence before asking... but this has me stumped. Largely because I keep running across documentation calling out various strings intl.date* in the Thunderbird configuration. Problem is my instance does not contain a single string containing intl.date. "Date" excludes all searches.

Each calendar has an associated colour but when I use the Print function to print the Events there are no colours - it's just black and white. Is there any way to have the colours shown too? I can't find an option "Print in color" anywhere...

I open and close Firefox many times in a day, usually without restarting computer. At some point it has decided to open/show all tabs I had open in previous session, which is different behaviour from before. I don't wan't it to remember what I had open. And it did not, until, well, I don't know. Recently. I haven't changed any settings. It is annoying. And because I have not checked "Open previous windows and tabs" in Settings/General/Startup, it seems like a bug.

Workaround: Stop wanting to Ask a Question and when you see GET HELP, click it.

Would anyone like to fix it? Preferably not the guy who wrote it...

This morning, my browser was having problems accessing the pages I use at work.

I restarted in Troubleshooting mode, and the problems went away, great.

Now I want to figure out which addon / extension caused the problem.

The "best" way I've found online is to enable half of them and restart in regular mode, if the problem is gone, then enable half of the remainder, see if the problem is gone, etc. until the problem comes back. This involves a lot of restarting and keeping track of which ones have been tested.

What I'd really like is a way to do all this from troubleshooting mode, enabling one addon at a time and testing a certain website until it breaks or I run out of addons, like Git Bisect or similar. Maybe sort the addons in reverse chronological order of addition or update, since the most recently added/updated addons are the most likely to be the problem.

This is one of those times where the feature has to be part of the browser, not an addon. :-)

Is this already implemented and I just haven't looked hard enough or recognized what I was seeing?

Why does the home page screen open twice upon Firefox startup. Every time I open Firefox, I get two screens of Firefox. I can't find any setting that I can change to one screen. It takes up memory, it's confusing and I have to go an click on the 2nd unwanted home page. I can't find any help that relates to this. It is annoying and doesn't happen with other browsers.
