Google sign in box pop-up on TB start up
About a week a go, after making no changes to TB or my computer, a Google account sign-in pop-up box started to appear when I started Thunderbird. It has my email/username and asks for my google password. As I have not been asked this before I am naturally suspicious and do not want to complete. TB works as normal no problems, but the pop-up box refuses to be closed. I have just updated to 31.1.2 but it di no help. Is this a ligitimate pop-up? Why has it suddently appeared?
This adds to the other (unresolved) address book pop-up I am getting when starting TB:

TB is starting to get very poppy!

Google made changes again. If you want to use their free services you have to jump through their hoops. If you do not like Google's changes, tell them about it. Thunderbird is just delivering the message.
Google account sign-in pop-up box started to appear when I started Thunderbird. It has my email/username and asks for my google password. Oddly enough on one of the 4 google mail account I have. How can I disable this? Google is getting to despotic. I have to sign in to use their services? Really? What's next?

gmail has instructions on how to use their service.
I have the same issue, only none of my e-mail accounts are through Google: I have 3 from my private domain (through Arvixe) and one through another large ISP. Why is the gmail pop-up appearing?? I have gone through all of the account settings and find nothing pointing to gmail.
