TB is hanging at the password entry screen...can enter password
MacOS 10.6.8, Thunderbird 38.4.0 I have restarted the computer; I have trashed the INBOX.msf file and restarted the computer. no change. just get the spinning blue ball and can't type in anything

Problem disappeared after reapeated restarts...no idea what happened... Thanks anyway! GO MOZILLA!

That should say "can't" enter password in the main question...sorry, i'm so exasperated, i can't think straight, let alone type straight.
