Laptop; Windows 7 A while ago, Ads by Capricornus began to show up in many of the sites I go on. I disabled and removed all the add-ons and extensions I didn't download or recognize. Didn't work. I refreshed FireFox about 3 times. Didn't work. I uninstalled FireFox, cleaned up my program files by control panel and through file explorer, reinstalled FireFox. No dice, it was still infected. Even when I don't have the browser open, my laptop will glitch when I'm using Word or Paint or some other program. I restarted my laptop on safety mode and did similar things from the last try. I saw that my firewall or security whatever it was couldn't be set back to its defaults. Not sure why. Also, many sites I used to use before, I'm not able to access as much because of some security warning that literally just states exactly this: 'ILLEGAL_&_DANGEROUS_CONTENT_BLOCKED'. That's the whole page. Not sure what's going on there either. I guess that's all I have to offer in info of what I've done to try and fix it. Any suggestions?
