Can anyone recommend an add-on similar to Evernote Clearly? Evernote has discontinued their add on, and I used it all the time! It would copy text from a webpage, all you to copy and paste into a word document as plain text--no HTML.

Thanks Alison

Well, here's a loaded possibility for you...

I recently downloaded a copy of the Clearly addon from here: http://download.cnet.com/Evernote-Clearly/3000-11745_4-75805658.html

It's the real deal, but be aware that you have to disable Firefox from disallowing unsigned addons so that it will install.

Now for the (maybe) bad news: Firefox stopped restoring sessions for me, and I tracked the problem down to the Clearly addon. When I disabled Clearly, Firefox went back to normal operation. If you normally don't start Firefox with previously-used tabs, then that won't matter to you at all, and Clearly has functioned completely correctly otherwise.

The question I ask myself is if the problem is caused by Clearly (unlikely, since it is the real Firefox version of the addon), or if it's caused by any unsigned addon.

I'd love to find a cure for my issue, but it really doesn't matter. Clearly works when I need it to, and I can leave it disabled when I don't. I agree with you...it's awesome!
