I am having a problem with Firefox 64.0.1 connecting to sites that I have never tried to go to. I use Little Snitch on my 2016 MacBook Pro as an extra layer of security. But whenever I navigate to a new site, I know I will have to deal with setting up new Little Snitch rules. Many of these are social media plugins that I only have to set the rules for once. But what I don't expect is to get these pop-ups when I first start up Firefox. I've already set rules - so I do not know why Little Snitch is telling me that Firefox is trying to connect to these sites. But it is not just social media websites. There are others - many of them online magazines. But these Little Snitch popups only appear when I first start up Firefox. Is there a way to stop Firefox from constantly trying to connect to these sites? Why is Firefox trying to connect to these sites days after I visited the website that generated them? I have even done a fresh clean install of High Sierra (macOS 10.13.2). Nothing seems to stop the popups.
