I am having trouble loading dramafever.com: the url displays correctly but the screen is white. I can view other dramafever pages that do not contain videos, but not the main page or any other page with video content.

I have read several other q&a's about this issue, but haven't found a solution.

No warnings or messages. No shield icon. Firefox and Adobe Flash Player (28.0.0.161) are up-to-date. I have cleared my cookies, history and cache (including the cookies that were only visible when I clicked on the "i"/lock by the url).

I have tried opening the webpage with firefox in safe mode with add-ons disabled and it still doesn't display. I don't believe it is related to ad blocking because it occurs even when I'm signed on and ad-free.

I have not had this problem with any other website (e.g. Youtube, Viki, Amazon).

This is happening on both my laptop and computer, but I can watch the videos on a smart tv.

Any ideas?

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Thank you for your help, FredMcD!

I'd thought I'd opened it in Safe Mode before by using the the Menu --> ? -->"Restart with Add ons disabled" without success (i.e. the webpage was still white in safe mode) -- so thank you for giving me this alternative!

So I'm happy, but I'm curious as to why dramafever.com is now working even after I shut down Firefox and then restarted it in normal mode. I didn't do anything else to unblock content.

The problem could have been a corrupted file that was overwritten.

If you use Adblock Plus then you can consider uBlock Origin as a replacement to see if that works better (lower memory footprint).

Thank you once again for the info, FredMcD!

And thank you cor-el -- I'll check it out.
