Synchronize bookmarks and Bookmarks Toolbar separately
Hello. Is there a way to separately choose to synchronize Bookmarks and Bookmarks Toolbar? I want to have all Bookmarks synchronized both on my home and work computers, but I don't want to synchronize Bookmarks Toolbar. I want to have separate Bookmarks Toolbar items at work and at home. So far I don't find such setting is there some way to do this? Thanks!

Yes, you can do this from the Firefox settings. Do the following:
- Open the Firefox settings or type
about:preferences
in the Firefox address bar - Select Firefox Account from the sidebar
- Uncheck Open Tabs
You will need to do this on each of your devices.

...Uncheck Open Tabs...
Considering the name of the option I think I haven't been clear enough. I don't want to synchronize bookmarks toolbar. Open tabs don't bother me. I want separate tabs on the bookmarks toolbars on my devices.

Oh sorry, I completely misunderstood your question. There is no native way to synchronize only specific bookmarks or folders.
Is it too brave to hope that someday this will be implemented as a feature? I would be surprised to be the only one that needs this. It's incredibly convenient to put your work sites on the bookmarks toolbar at work, and put your home sites at home. Now I have about 10 tabs on the toolbar that are internal company sites and I have no use for them at home. Sure it's not that difficult to have this feature.
I'm not sure that this is even being discussed at the moment, but it would be cool to have the ability to sync only specific bookmark folders.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
Furthermore, for the example that you listed above about work and home Firefox usage, a lot of people using Firefox for this run more than one Firefox profile (one for home and one for work) connected to different Firefox Accounts for sync.
For more information on creating and running multiple Firefox profiles, see the Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles support documentation.
Note that there is a maximum to the payload for tabs that are synced, so if you have tab with a long URL or title then you can possibly run into this maximum and not all tabs are synced.
So far I don't have problems with long URLs and not synced bookmarks. Multiple profiles are not exactly convenient because I frequently send tabs both from work and home to my phone, so the three browsers must be with one account. I'll try sending feedback and pray to the image of Brendan Eich that this will be implemented as a feature someday. Thank you all!
I don't think this is the same feature in Firefox, but it might provide a similar process.
Have you tried Firefox Containers and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/containers-sync/ ?

Feature requests should be submitted here as "Feedback": https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ Which can be accessed from Help > Submit Feedback ... in the Firefox menu system.
Features requests via "feedback" would be collected by Mozilla staff members. For the most part the support contributors who provide support are just other Firefox users, and don't work for Mozilla.
Another way of getting the attention of Mozilla developers is to file a Bug report with a "RFE" - request for enhancement. But you need to get the terminology correct; there are no "tabs" on the Bookmarks Toolbar, those are "bookmarks" which are in the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder in the bookmarks menu system and are displayed on the Bookmarks Toolbar. Unfortunately, you have almost everyone who responded here confused about "tabs" vs. bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar. I just hope that my reading of what you want to do is accurate, because I had to read it many times to come to my conclusion.
