I'm trying to migrate my T-bird data to a new PC. The help file on line says that clicking on "open folder" in the troubleshooting area will open my profile in Windows Explorer. But that doesn't exist in Win10. So how do I access my profile so that I can put all the info into a migration file?

Windows explorer or file manager is just as much alive in Windows 10 as it was in windows 2. (it was the main system user interface in windows 2)

So how about going to the button and actually clicking it. I have never actually heard of clicking the button not working.

But if it does not

windows key +R type %appdata% copy the Thunderbird profile that opens to your usb drive. (make sure it has all the files, so right click the folder and select properties. (check the number of files.)

Repeat the right click after the copy on the USB drive to make sure you have them all.

goto your new computer and repeat the appdata stuff copy your usb information to the %appdata% folder so you now have a Thunderbird folder on the new device.

check the number of files copied. start Thunderbird if you got it right.

Certainly it does. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/moving-thunderbird-data-to-a-new-computer
