Firefox disappeared completely after a Windows 10 update
Hello, I just restarted my PC after a Windows 10 update (Windows Update). Launching Firefox from the task bar no longer worked (link removed). So I launched Firefox from the start menu. A completely blank version of Firefox appeared on the screen, as if I had just installed it. No more favorites, no more extensions, no more customization. All Firefox installation files in the AppData directory are dated today. How can a Windows update remove a Firefox installation? Is it possible to recover favorites and bookmarks? How many profiles are listed?
How many should be there?
Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.
