No space between words and space bar deletes text on Thunderbird for mac
One of our Emeriti Professors using Thunderbird of a Mac can use the space bar when typing text. The space bar deletes text.
Is there an over write mode in Thunderbird for Mac? If so, how is it turned off.

The problem was caused by an accessibility setting for the keyboard on Macs. When enable full keyboard access is checked, Thunderbird does not know what to do. Word and text edit work normally when you press the space bar when typing.
