Hello.

My internet fluctuates constantly while using the Firefox browser. It uses full capacity for 5 seconds, then uses almost 1 mbps internet for the next 5 seconds, then uses full capacity for 5 seconds and so on. I tried a lot of things but it didn't work. I have 100 Mbps internet and connect with 5GHz WI-FI.

Things I've tried:

-Reset Firefox -Run Firefox in troubleshooting mode -Turn off Anti-Virus and Adguard Ad Blocker -DNS flush -Formatting the computer

I don't have such internet fluctuation problem when using it in Microsoft Edge browser. It works seamlessly.

Apart from this, there is another situation that I encountered once, as long as I do not format the computer on which I installed Firefox, this internet fluctuation occurs constantly.

This can be caused by hardware acceleration within Firefox. and select Settings. In the General panel, go down to the Performance section. Uncheck the box next to Use recommended performance settings.

I tried this, but the result did not change.

Also, I think I may have found the source of the problem.

Whenever I turn on Firefox's location permissions, my internet starts to fluctuate, and when I turn it off, the fluctuation ends. It doesn't matter if hardware acceleration is on or off.

If I activate location permissions once, my internet starts to fluctuate directly. When I cancel the location permission, the internet fluctuation is fixed.

I downloaded ubuntu from ubuntu site to confirm what I said. When I enable location permissions, my internet starts to have problems.

Have you gone through this help link. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/does-firefox-share-my-location-websites https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/988163

This is not what I was talking about.

The case I'm talking about is related to Firefox destabilizing the internet when I turn on location permissions. When I give even 1 location permission in Firefox, the internet starts to fluctuate and this problem sometimes affects my entire computer, until I completely delete Firefox, or reinstall Windows.

I also want to add this. I installed Firefox Nightly with the thought that this problem may be fixed in future versions, this problem I mentioned was also here.

Anyway... The moderator looking at the Turkish support reported this problem to the developers, now I'm waiting for the result. I'll post the results here as well.
