Normally my passwords are remembered fine, but for my most frequently used work email the feature does not work in Firefox 3.5.3; I carefully followed instructions on https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/username+and+password+not+remembered but this gives the impression that if your password is still not remembered then it must be a site which is configured not to remember it; this is not true as it works fine for me on other computers using same Firefox browser. Incidentally, some may doubt if I saw the "Remember password" bar at top the first time I access this site, and blame user error, however, I took particular note of this when I first logged on to site on this machine and no such option appeared.
