I have a set of index pages (http://www.knihtisk.org/specialist/index-help.htm). There are links from unused terms on one page to an anchor on a page that contains the used term. The link to any anchor on my "e"page goes to the top of the "e" page, but to go to the anchor, I must click the "reload" button. This only seems to happen on the "e"page; other links work. However: IE8 works and Firefox works if I do not apply the CSS to the pages (That is, I build the raw pages using a series of XSLT stylesheets and load the output HTML pages to my website: Foxfire works on these raw pages but fails on the website when javascript and CSS are applied). I can find nothing wrong with the"e"page, but because the anchor links work on other pages, assume this page is somehow different. But because Firefox works on the raw pages, and IE8 works when javascript and css are applied, I cannot figure out what is wrong. I will continue to work on the problem, but hints would be appreciated.

Go to the "d" page and click on the link from "Denmark" to see what is happening.

New information: clearing the cache makes the link work, but only once. A second try fails. Also, the "reload page" to get to the anchor sometimes fails.

Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox.
