Failed to download java download client
Trying to get a webex meeting going w/new firefox 4 install, I get:
"Failed to download java download client!
Sorry, you do not have java download client enabled. Please try again or inform your Site Administrator to set up for you. "
There is no site administrator, it's my Mac so I'm it. ;) I've googled it and I see nothing on how to turn this on. Basically you can try and start a webex meeting here:

That also chokes with the same error. Works with Firefox 3.x no problems... but with firefox 4 no dice. Probably some simple setting I'm missing... can someone give me a clue?

Workaround:
Find your Firefox application in Finder, right click on it, click on "File Info", select 32-bit mode, and restart Firefox.

Thanks, that did it, now it's working fine. Appreciate it...
I've attempted to apply that fix and now when I try to launch the Webex session, Firefox is crashing every time. It won't even display the Java error message.
@relayware: Firefox crashed for me as well. Restart mac also and it works fine.

Hi, I'm having the same problem, but am using firefox 9. I'm going to the finder, and more info, but unlike older versions I don't have the option to select 32-bit mode. Can anyone help?

I spoke to my client and found out they were using Safari. I did the same and everything worked fine.
