how do I permanetly hid the add-ons bar?
Every time I open a new tab, I have to right click and remove the add-ons bar. How can the add-ons bar be permanently hidden?

Do you have the McAfee Site Advisor, that one has caused this problem for some people. If you have it you can either disable or uninstall it to stop this from happening.
If you don't have the McAfee Site Advisor, there will probably be another add-on causing this. Use the procedure in the following link to identify what one - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

Awesome thank you! That was the problem, disabled site advisor and now add-ons bar stays hidden.
