Will the new Firefox 5 allow easy printing and not immobilise my Norton 360 virus protection?

Firefox 3.6 was not printer-friendly - it did not print beyond page 1. Firefox 4.0 disabled my Norton virus protection. Norton provided valuable info for every website obtained via Google - both whether it was a 'safe' site plus whether it was secure site for transactions.

For these reasons I have stuck to my tried and tested Firefox 3.5.5.

Firefox 5 has not yet been released.

Symantec have released an update for Norton 360 to make it compatible with Firefox 4, for details see http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US

As Symanctec have proved to be slow at updating their add-ons to work with new releases of Firefox, I would not be surprised if the same thing happens when Firefox 5 is released.

Considering how slow Norton has been with updating their Firefox extensions after Mozilla releases a new version of Firefox in the past, like with them taking a month to two months to fix their stuff, they are gonna be up-the-creek with Firefox 5 and subsequent version releases coming every 3 months instead of the current year to 14 months.

The situation for Firefox / Norton users might turn out to be 1 to 2 months waiting for Norton to fix their stuff, then use Firefox /Norton for a month; and start that cycle all over again when a new Firefox release comes out.
