Firefox 4.0.1 stops responding. It freezes after several hours running. Pull down menus descend but do not respond to clicking. Clicking on different tabs does nothing.

Going to "Force Quit Application" does NOT show "Not Responding."

Force Quit does close Firefox. But then no "Report this Problem" window appears. Thus no fault log data can be sent to you or Apple.

This happens on both my Mac Pro and Mac Book Air.

I've had this problem for a long time. I use a PC. I do, however, get the "not responding" text in the title bar. Then I have to open Task Manager and forcefully close Firefox by going to the Processes tab. I don't know if it's because I have too many tabs open, but that should not make any difference. This problem is very annoying.
