My OS is Win7 and I am getting popup windows alerting me to download Firefox 5.0. Yet I am then alerted 3 programs I use are not compatible with 5.0. Since I'm not going to give up using PDF Converter, DVD VideoSoft or Google Toolbar I choose not to download 5.0 at this time. How do I disable that irritating popup window to download 5.0? It's distracting and a waste of my tine.

As for Google Toolbar, you will have no choice it is not going to be updated but you can play now with how you are going to deal with the situation later on.

The Google Toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 and up, you may be able to get what you want from it for a limited time, the directions to install the Google Toolbar were posted before Google actually announced dropping support.

In any case you can find several alternative solutions, see
