internet explorer lets me "add" a search engine to the tool bar. I dont want to install an entire toolbar for it, but the search engine I want to use isnt listed. it is igive.com it is powered by bing and when I use i.e. I can just search from the toolbar, I am so surprised I cant find it here, but there must be a way to add it.

Thank you for trying but I saw the list of search engines before I posted the question. I was confused as to why I can only use search engines on their list when i.e. has the ability to let me enter one that isnt on the list (or create my own, or something like that, its been like 2 years since I added it to i.e.).

You can add any search engine you want in to Firefox, as long as it meets A9 or Sherlock specs. I couldn't find it at iGive.com, it may be hidden behind the registration and logon for that website and only accessible to those who are registered. If you can find it, there should be a button for you to install it. Otherwise, see if this search plugin does what you need - but that particular plugin may give "credit" to the author of that search plugin - Rob Grosshandler - I can see what looks like a "user number" embedded in the code of that plugin.
