After the automatic update on 2/2/12 profile pics on facebook no longer appear and most websites either never finishing downloading or take a very long time
after the 2/2/12 update no static images (SB profile pics, sidebar ad pics, cnn video images) would load. Overall slowdown seemed to occur. It happens on all 3 computers in the house. What's the fix? I tried running cCleaner but that appears to have made it worse.

cookies and cache has been cleared. Firefox has been uninstalled then reinstalled with no improvement.
The next thing to try is to work though the steps in Websites don't load - troubleshoot and fix error messages. Though if this is happening on all of your computers it might have something to do with your internet connection. Maybe resetting that will help.
Have followed steps to allow automatic image loading for Facebook and reset internet. No improvement.
As a side note...Facebook pictures load just fine in Internet Explorer.
And all of a sudden everything works.
Sometimes computers are like that. :/ I'm happy it's working for you now though!
