Last night I updated the Java on my computer to 7. Ever since then I've been unable to play certain games at Pogo.com.

As Firefox has disabled the earlier versions, I'm no longer able to play certain games.

XP with FF 13...I refuse to use IE or Chrome.

I've tried all suggestions from here and Pogo, but nothing is working.

All plug-ins and extensions are up-to-date.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

First, uninstall Java 7 from Windows Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

Then, the file that you need to install is Java 6r32, the most current Java 6 version that is still supported (until November 2012 at which time you must switch to Java 7)..

"Java Not Found or Not Working while playing Pogo games with Norton Internet Security enabled" found it in http://www.java.com/en/download/help/index_error.xml?user_os=Windows%20XP&user_jre=7.0 but the link is dead !

just a thought , uninstall the latest 7 and install 6.31 again ?

How do I uninstall Java on my Windows computer ?

When I reinstalled the previous version of Java, FF promptly disabled it, and continued to do so even after I re-enabled it.

I don't use Norton.

All the answers above say the fix does not work after November. It is now November, we got another update on Java and like sobrrodas I have numerous games that get to the loading point and stay there. I can play fine in Chrome and Explorer but not Firefox. This is a Firefox problem apparently. Please help us, thanks
