I keep switching to the newest version of Yahoo email in Firefox 17, but every time I log out of Firefox and back in again, it reverts to Yahoo Classic email. I don't have this problem in Windows Explorer.

I've asked the Yahoo Help community about this and have not gotten an answer that resolves it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm running Windows 7.

This can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that aren't send or otherwise blocked.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

You say I should remove cookies from "sites causing problems" How can I tell which sites are causing problems?

You have a problem with Yahoo, so you need to look for cookies from the Yahoo domain.
If you are not sure then you can delete more cookies or all if you do not care about losing them as this will remove all settings the you've saved from those domains.
