when I istall the latest version of Flash player, I get a plugin
When I install the latest version of Flash Player(11.6.602.171), I get a firefox plugin. Why am I not receiving the Flash Player instead? OS is vista home premium, firefox v.18

Hmmm, the Flash player piece that works inside Firefox is a plugin. Do you mean you are getting a puzzle-piece icon where the Flash player should appear on the page, or a message about activating the plugin, or a message about updating the plugin?
