Tried uninstalling latest Flash & install older version but did not work. I do not have Real Player initially but installed the latest version just to see if it works but it didnt. Tried looking in the plug in screen but all it says is my Java is out of date and even after updating it, it says my Java is out date and nothing else.

Please use http://ninite.com/flash-java/ninite.exe to update your Flash and Java (close Firefox after downloading this to install properly)

Do you see the plugins on the Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins page (Java may be disabled)?

The Firefox developers have decided to block all Java versions because of ongoing security issues with Java.

You can manually enable the plugins for specific trusted websites via the red click-to-play icon on the location bar.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
