And for the record, I am not confused about the search for yahoo and toolbar for yahooo. In the other thread several people said 'disable it in your add-ons' Well as the poster above mentioned and I can confirm **it is not in the add-ons area** Others said 'use the add/remove function in the control panel' and as the poster above mentioned and once again I can confirm **I did this and it no longer shows up under add/remove but the toolbar is still annoyingly there** Yet others said 'you must have downloaded a special yahoo version of Firefox' No, we (or at least I) didn't. The toolbar was installed when I installed Yahoo messenger -I can't believe a 'clean install' of Firefox is the answer to this problem--if so this is just ridiculous. If there is no actual answer, I can accept that but I am frustrated that people are posting responses that very clearly are not the right answers because the people posting the problems were very clear about the issues.
