After following all help directions still getting synch error
Email, account & syncing not recognized. Any time I want to sync it encounters an error. I follow instructions on how to delete files, change password but when entering the right info it gives me the error again. I've been researching and fixing this issue for a couple of months now but not luck :( I'm thinking that I'm doing all this from a computer that is not the one I open up the account with. Although I do have the original key, still doesn't recognizes it. As a matter of fact I do not even have the option to Pair a Device in Tools>Options>Sync or enter the Key When asked to reset the password, I properly follow the instructions but the user id &/or password are not recognized. This is very frustrating and I've spent too much time. If I didn't have so many bookmarks that I use regularly, I would delete this account and start from scratch. Please help me. Thanks! Cortrece

I haven't used Firefox's sync feature, so I won't claim this is the best solution, but if you are only worried about your Firefox bookmarks, maybe you could export them (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer), reinstall Firefox, set up sync, and import your bookmarks?
